The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher.
ICIQ is committed to performing excellent research at the frontier of knowledge in the broad area of chemistry (Catalysis, Artificial Photosynthesis, Activation of Small Molecules, Photovoltaics, Functional Molecular Assemblies and Chemical Biology, from either theoretical or experimental perspectives). ICIQ is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Feliu Maseras. The candidate will work on the transfer of computational biocatalysis strategies to large multimetallic homogenous systems.
Responsibilities
The candidate will help in the implementation of new computational schemes emerging from biocatalysis to the field of dual and multimetallic homogeneous catalysis. A special focus will be placed in the proper introduction of microkinetic modeling with the goal of reproducing experimental data to the point of reaction times. Collaboration in the training of graduate and master students will be expected.
