At REVLON we are looking for a Project Manager position within Revlon’s Global Portfolio and Program Management Office (PPMO). This role will focus on hand-on project management for multiple Existing Product Development projects within Revlon, other Revlon franchises or other brands in the company’s portfolio.
The program manager will work closely with all change management initiators including Global Marketing and Regulatory as well as with Planning and other cross-functional partners.
The Program Manager leads the executional elements of cross functional projects/teams in a matrix environment and thru the EPD process.
The role is 1st to align with the change management initiator on the following elements: scope of change , definition and reason for change, timing for change and identify the stakeholders impacted and to include in the project team ; then to gain alignment on the project planning and priorities, resource and risk mitigation.
The PM will guide the project team activities to meet project and business objectives, and approval of project recommendations through stage gate decision forums as part of Revlon’s EPD change management process.
The PM will ensure project leadership and communication.
The Project Manager will: demonstrate a constant improvement mindset; enhance or create effective program management capabilities and tools to more consistently deliver projects.
Critical skills needed to perform the job include: enterprise leadership and facilitation, collaboration, attention to detail, significant experience and demonstrated proficiency in MS Project and in planning, and demonstrated business acumen, project management, communication, process management and team performance management. Possess strong facilitation skills to drive the team to deliver results, engage teams in healthy debate/conflict, and deliver solutions.
Experience
- Project management experience leading/managing cross-functional teams. Prefer 5+ years of direct experience in managing new product development projects from idea to market launch or 5+ years in a FMCG planning environment.
- Proven record of leading teams in delivering results required.
- Must have experience working in at least two functional areas (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Procurement, Marketing, etc.)
- Must be familiar with standard PM tools and templates. Strong MS Office suite skills; can demonstrate expertise with MS Project. Famililarity with stage-gate processes
- Direct, successful leadership experience within a global, matrix organization. Can show evidence of directing, motivating and facilitating skilled professionals in a dynamic, high pressure, constantly changing environment.
- Highly developed leadership skills, able to lead from the back, middle and front. Understands how to motivate versus direct and can handle multiple, complex priorities in a global, ever evolving business environment
- Highly self-motivated, pro-active, results oriented individual with robust interpersonal skills that is resilient.
- Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities independently; strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to resolve conflict (striving for win-win outcomes) and act independently through ambiguity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Spanish required.
Education
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; typically a degree in the Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Business or a related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA or other advanced degree desirable.
- Business and Financial Acumen required.
