BASF Ultramid Endure is a highly thermostable polyamide and a competitive cost that meets the stringent requirements of temperature close to the engine components for cars such as those involved in the process of air cargo.
The new grade of specialty polyamide (PA), BASF's Ultramid Endure is a polyamide reinforced with glass fiber that combines exceptional resistance to thermal aging with good processing power that characterizes the PA 66.
BASF Ultramid Polyamide Endure.
Compared with the degree of polyamide PA 66 standard, the processing capacity of Ultramid A3WG7 has also improved significantly. This combination of features, it is now possible to produce a reasonable system costs about underhood components that are capable of withstanding exposure to hot air and, thus, contribute to the significant reduction in weight.
The new Ultramid Endure can easily withstand continuous use at temperatures up to 220 º C, with peaks of up to 240 º C. The tests have shown that Endure Ultramid maintains its high resistance to fatigue tests at 220 º C, even after 3,000 hours.
