The Company
One of the largest and most experienced pharmaceutical outsource partners to the healthcare industry in Europe. They currently operate across multiple sites in Europe and ship to over 47 countries worldwide. They are experts in oral liquid manufacturing, and can offer agile solutions for non-sterile manufacturing requirements. They are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join their team at their Newcastle site.
The Job
The successful Quality Control Supervisor will:
- Manage and develop a team of pharmaceutical analysts and microbiologists undertaking the analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
- Plan, organise and monitor laboratory workloads, ensuring sample are analysed in a timely manner and results are delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure that the laboratories are compliant with the principles of cGMP/cGLP and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in client quality audits and regulatory inspections on all QC matters and act as the primary contact for all QC queries.
Your Experience
To be considered for the Quality Control Supervisor role you will have:
- A Degree in Chemistry (or related)
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in analytical, chemistry, microbiological or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience of participating in client quality audits and regulatory inspections
- Experience with supervising or managing a team
