James Horne is recruiting for a Materials Management Operative to join a leading Research and Development company that supports the Life Science industry. Based at their site in Hoddesdon, this role is on a full time and permanent basis.

Location:
This role is located in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. It is easily commutable from the surrounding areas with excellent road links to the M25, M11 and A10.
The Role:
Joining the Process Chemistry team, you will report into the Materials Management Team Leader and your main responsibilities will be to procure chemicals and necessary materials for ongoing site projects. This will involve fulfilling material, equipment and stock requests for production and laboratory areas, ensuring that all stocks are monitored and ordered as required. You will also ensure that all deliveries are received in the appropriate manner as they will include hazardous, temperature critical or GMP materials.
Your Background:
· Previous experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of GMP would be advantageous.
· Experience of working in an environment where safety is vital.
· Knowledge of chemical safety and handling is desirable.
· Experience of driving of fork lift truck is desirable.
This a Monday - Friday role, working 37.5 hours per week.
