Your tasks
Function: the candidate will assist and the Troy Regulatory Europe team in various regulatory matters with a focus on biocides.
The main objectives are:
- Supporting the European Regulatory activities linked to both National and European notification/ registration/ authorization of biocide products as well as additives
- Providing customer support
- Maintaining regulatory information and registration records
- Assisting the Director Regulatory Europe, the Registration Manager and the Senior Regulatory Affairs Managers
That includes:
- Maintain registration records, ensure the maintenance of the country registration
- Maintaining or consolidating databases;
- Responding to customer inquiries, or help their colleagues to answer;
- Keeping up to date with the understanding of the EU and the National legislations related to biocides but also chemicals in general (VOC, Eco-labels ...), where necessary analyze the impacts of the changes of legislation and communicate;
Your profile
- Experience (minimum of 3 years) in the Biocide or Plant Protection Product Industry as regulatory assistant with working knowledge of EU Biocidal Product (EU BPR) and/or EU Plant Protection Product (EU PPPR) legislation
- Ability to perform administrative work in an organized way
- Proficiency in the use of computer (MS Office, regulatory IT systems) programs for document processing, Databases, Spreadsheets, E-mail, Internet and regulatory dossiers
- Basic appreciation of EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging (EU CLP) and EU Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (EU REACH) Legislation
- Language skills: fluent in English + any other EU language
- Ability to work independently in a medium size organization.
Education:
- Master in Chemistry or similar
