In this role you will be involved in process development, technology transfer and analytical activities to support the scale up and optimisation of new products. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced R&D Chemist looking to join a well-known pharmaceutical manufacturer. Role Overview: Lab based Process Development and Analytical Activities to support scale up of new products and to optimise quality and safety. Involvement in Technology Transfer. Production and maintenance of necessary technical reports and documentation. Support of the manufacturing department through troubleshooting and process supervision. Full time, permanent role, Mon-Fri. Requirements: Educated to at least Degree level or equivalent in Chemistry. Experience gained from a similar role (ideally within pharma) with a strong working knowledge of process development and manufacturing operations. Strong working knowledge of cGMP. Practical experience with chromatographic instruments including HPLC and GC. Proactive, with great interpersonal, communication and team working skills. Your future tasks:Process design of water treatment processes: flow diagrams, PID, bill of quantities, layout, philosophy of control, equipment specifications, commissioning/operation/maintenance manuals, etc. Site Management and project engineering, management of subcontractors and Client ́s engineer. Installation Supervision of Subcontractors. Plant commissioning supervision and supervision of subcontractors. Potential taking over of Project Manager position for turnkey contracts. Your convincing profile: Preferably experienced and/or young professionals with a BSc/MSc in process/chemical/electrical/mechanical/water engineering or comparable qualification. Good knowledge about process design, plant engineering and water chemistry. Advanced IT skills (MS Office, 2D/3D CAD/CAPE tools, etc.). Team player with ability of sovereign and independent work style. Willingness to travel internationally and relocation during execution phase of projects. Good communication and problem-solving skills. English required, other language skills advantageous (German, French, Portuguese, Balkan area).
