I have several silicone cookware, but without doubt my favorite is silicone steamer Leuk Brand:

The same goes for fish and zucchini steamed or pan Dukan.

Features Lekue vapor Case:

* Hermetic, takes all the steam.
* Suitable for oven or microwave.
* Healthy cooking, healthy food, light, fat free.
* The food cooks in its own juice.
* The flavors blend together, enhancing their original flavor and nutrients are better preserved
* Non-stick.
* Hygienic.
* Easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
* Reusable and environmentally friendly, does not require foil.
* Does not retain odors or flavors.
* Capacity for 1 to 2 people.

Price: 19.95 €

It is one of the best investments in the kitchen I've done. When I bought seemed expensive, but it is true that silicone is the only one I have (the others are cheaper) in which the food is not coje no taste. With the others I have to get the food just do it because if not then an aftertaste that I find enjoyable. If things of this brand were something cheaper would not hesitate to buy them.

You also have the kit for 3 or 4 people but we must be careful because it is quite large and in some microwave does not fit.

The silicone rubber plugs threaten cork

The wine and cork have formed an inseparable couple for centuries. But in recent years, there are other alternatives to traditional caps: plastic, silicon and glass, among other materials, are used to seal bottles. This circumstance is behind the crisis experienced by the cork of Malaga. In recent times the price of their product has fallen by 30%.
These farmers, specialized in extracting cork oaks, have achieved 15% more product in the bag this year, and is the name of the separation of the cork-tree trunk, due to heavy rains the last winter.
However, this increase in output unlikely to offset the low price received at the source. And it is to extract the cork from the cork is a completely manual task that is rewarded economically. At present, the Castilian-as quintal equals 46 kilos, ranging between 30 and 50 euros if low or medium quality, and between 50 and 85 euros if it is in good or excellent. The quality depends on factors such as humidity, age of trees or thick.
In the province of Malaga is about 12,000 hectares of cork between public and private forests. The main producing areas are Cortes de la Frontera, Ronda, Gaucin, people Genal Valley, Ojen and Junquera, mainly.
According to Rafael Cordero, Asaja technical Malaga Ronda, "the wine bottles have not yet abandoned the cork and is not expected to do so at least in the short or medium term. That is the hope of this sector. In contrast, the oak barrels in which wine is stored until packaging itself is beginning to clog with silicone. "
Wine taste better
The cork Malaga call on consumers to acquire the packaged bottles with cork stoppers. Support its request in the numerous studies that suggest that this material, being natural, improves the qualities of wine, enhancing its flavor and quality.
For its part, the spokesman claimed that values Asaja these people, because if the activity ceases for lack of profitability will be many unfortunate collateral damage. Keep in mind that the cork has traditionally provided significant revenue and labor in much of the agricultural fabric of the Highlands.
In addition, the environmental value of this activity is straightforward: "Our producers protect the typical Mediterranean wood, keep the roads clean and enhance its landscape value. Keep in mind that all these activities are those that attach to the population in rural areas, if we lose it is very difficult to regain it, "says Lamb.

biodegradable bags polythene bags Polybags

A total revamp of a well known packaging website is proving a massive hit both with trade and non-trade shoppers. Polybags is a brand name long associated with innovation; the company was founded in 1968, their website was one of the first e-commerce shops to go online (way back in 1999) and alongside their more traditional range of polythene bags they famously introduced a range of *truly* environmentally-friendly biodegradable bags made from potato-starch rather than the 'lip-service' degradable bags which may actually be more harmful to the environment offered by most manufacturers. Their latest innovation has won not only acclaim from customers and industry-insiders, but has attracted a lot of applause from the world of IT too, and fans of the colour pink everywhere. Sandy Badger, a spokesperson for Mangolab, designers of the site, says the success is down to a genuine desire to help the shopper: "we've made everything as easy as possible for the customer, no matter how hard it was for us". Jon Davies, a director of Polybags added "We've always offered great prices and a great service but what we wanted was a website that was built on that, and we wanted it big, bold, distinctive ...and pink!". Electric vehicles will not solve all the problems related to emissions of carbon dioxide facing the automotive industry

Electric vehicles will not solve all the problems related to emissions of carbon dioxide facing the automotive industry, according to a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which highlights the need to work on other complementary technologies.

PwC's paper says that the major automotive markets such as USA, Japan and the European Union are putting in place regulations requiring reduce carbon dioxide emissions from cars, so car manufacturers and components are being forced to invest heavily in the development of more efficient technologies. Therefore, the bid document that governments of different countries to implement measures to encourage the use of these vehicles, as well as grants or loans, which allow the installation of necessary infrastructure.

On the other hand, the report shows that the improved performance and battery life of lithium ion technology is the main obstacle they have to solve the automakers regarding electric cars.

electric car isn't a good solution for particular people by the moment

A series of conditions: autonomy (between 100 and 120 actual miles), the recharge time takes conventional (6 to 8 hours), or the need for a car with power load, make the use of electric cars not be very feasible for a particular. And even less if we consider its performance relative to a conventional diesel can cost three times less.
In fifteen seconds, with six euros, you can load into the tank of a diesel Renault Clio, the required amount of fuel to travel one hundred kilometers. If it's an electric car, with less than two euros can take full charge to travel those same one hundred kilometers. However, entry into the load, if it is a conventional decision, are to be used between 6 and 8 hours. And secondly, when the price of electric vehicles (with batteries for) the equivalent of three times that of diesel, the difference was not repaid until you travel 300,000 kilometers. And as the average annual mileage of these vehicles is 7,500 kilometers, will take another 40 years.
Battery Rental
Renault offers a more viable approach partly solves this problem. Thus, its electric Fluence and Zoe come at a price (after applying for aid for the purchase) equal to that of a conventional model. But batteries are not included but are available under a 'lease', for 79 euros a month, to 10,000 km per year for three years. Two points, with those 79 euros you can have about a thousand liters of diesel per year, and on the other hand, if the manufacturer says that profitability is achieved if you do 12,000 miles a year, what will happen or what price it charged for those 2,000 more miles above the figure for the "renting"?
For all this and at the present time, the only customers able to find a financial or environmental media in the electric car are the fleets of companies. They themselves are able to invest in expensive poles quick recharge (80% of the battery in 30 minutes), which allows vehicles to increase their ability to perform major tours mileage necessary for their profitability.
What companies do you think? At present, only 2% of Spanish companies have electric vehicles in their fleets, a percentage similar to hybrids and close to 3% representing those using LPG or natural gas. These figures are far from 12% of Spanish companies have already recognized fuel-efficient cars (Eco2, Econetic, Bluetec, etc.) or even Fluela Flex vehicles (biofuels). With the theme of hybrid goes a bit like electric cars, their high purchase price cuts the purchasing intentions. Seven out of ten companies now recognize not afford to bet on a fleet of vehicles in these characteristics.
As for intentions, 23% of large Spanish companies and 21% of small and medium-sized states that incorporate electric vehicles by 2013, according to data from Monitoring Vehicle Company (VOC), sponsored by Arval, a company of 'renting' the BNP Paribas group, made public on the occasion of the Second Chamber of the Alternative Fuel Vehicle and Valladolid in October.
While this represents a significant increase in eight points on the intentions shown a year ago, the hybrid wins him the intention to use electricity in the medium term to be 30% of Spanish companies that include them into their fleets the next three years, which means winning the 'battle' the electric car intended for use in the medium term.
Arval According to the introduction of such vehicles in the car park a success, the involvement of government and public entities and large corporations will be key. In addition, they benefit from a reduction of energy costs associated with transportation, as well as a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, the administration represent only 5% of long-term rentals in Spain.
Obstacles
Companies are still serious obstacles to economic and technical at the time of incorporating electric vehicles to its fleet before it becomes a realistic alternative to consider. 68% of the enterprises located in our country considered excessively high purchase price. Another problem that makes companies think twice before entering an electric car to their fleet is the lack of infrastructure. So, for 59% of the companies, the lack of recharge points is the main barrier to be decided, while 51% considered an obstacle to its implementation the lack of suitable models for their activity and insufficient network of workshops able to maintain and repair the technology. Doubts about their road safety and their 'green impact' real arouse suspicion also from 12% of users.
And finally another aspect to consider is that for automakers, the company's fleet will be essential for the development of electric models at the first stage. The explanation is that, through the purchase of a large number of the units may make it profitable production, and another to serve as a testbed for development, before going into private hands.

A recommended speed of 130 kilometers per hour, with space for four people, power steering, airbags, radio, air conditioning and heating, it is a type of vehicle is fully suitable for use in day to day.

With starting point in the city of Munich, the journey made by car, powered by lithium battery, has reached Berlin without any problems, "according to project managers.

The car in question, which is the electric version of the Audi A2, made the trip with an average of 90 miles per hour and reached the German capital with 18 percent of battery power without spending.

The proposed trip has been carried out jointly by the DBM Berlin technology company and provider of energy "Lekker energie" and has been supported by the German Ministry of Economy, which aims to promote such vehicles in the coming years .

Thus, in the National Plan for Mobility, the government hopes that 2015 will normally be used with this power electric vehicles to travel at least 300 kilometers without refueling.

In this regard, as are eight German regions where testing with this technology over 2,800 vehicles of this type and 2,500 points for recharging batteries.

According to government plans, by 2020 it is intended that a million electric cars running on roads and highways in Germany, helping to combat climate change by the reduction in gasoline usage.

Today's not the first test performed in the world with electric cars, as in Japan travel up to 1,000 kilometers achieved without refueling, but at that time the vehicle was not functional and is only intended to test the technology.

Economy Minister German, Rainer Brüderle, has described the trip as "a breakthrough in the world" and expressed his confidence that this car was developed in Berlin, "it becomes a big hit around the world."

The managing director of the company "Lekker energie", Thomas Mecke, announced that "the investigations have already finished and now it is time to sell the product.

The success in achieving the world record has benefited from the work of 50 experts for six weeks straight and long shot of a young company like DBM.

Despite support for the project, the minister has ruled out an investment of thousands of euros to promote the new vehicle, as this "would distort competition," and said that "the electric car of today should be successful in the market" .

Also, other German companies have also opted for this technology as the major BMW, which since the summer of 2009 has 600 cars Electrics Mini-E into service to test its operation.

The head of BMW Berlin, Nicole Bruning, said that after the tests so far was in a position to say that electric vehicles will be part of normal earlier than expected. "
