Nobody in the SSA uses cubrebocas

The receptionist or the Ministry of Health uses the federal cubrebocas, reveals a note published today in the Spanish daily El Pais.

"Nobody carries masks. Neither the receptionist, or anyone from the cleaning service, or secretaries, or chief of the Press and, of course, the doctor (Miguel Angel) Lezana (director general of the National Center of Epidemiological Surveillance and Disease Control ), "says the note signed by Pablo Ordaz, which carries the title" Nobody uses masks in the Mexican Secretariat of Health.

Incredibly, when asked the federal Department of Health why not take the cubrebocas, the answer given by the federal level is the following:

"Because the porosity have easily allow the passage of particles, and because it is very possible that the virus can be transmitted through the air without being in contact with any surface."

When the reporter from El Pais asked why the SSA have been spreading the cubrebocas, the response received is as follows:

"Well, it is more a demand of the population. People feel safer bringing more quiet and not do any harm"

Ie, cubrebocas were just a placebo.

However, it was the Felipe Calderón who reiterated Wednesday evening April 29 on a national network that people should use cubrebocas and, indeed, not going on holiday and stay in their homes during the first bridge and May 5.

The note said that the surprising answer from the SSA believes that when politicians started to masks promise to the people "as if there was salvation."

But in SSA's history is different. The PAIAs Lezana declares that the swine influenza virus can only live thing in the air for a few seconds, but that can be done where it is strong on the objects.

"If I have the virus and sneezing on the recorder, the virus can stay there 24 or even 48 hours. If you played and then put their hands to the mouth, nose or eyes, can be passed. So The important thing is to wash your hands very, very clean objects that other people have touched, "says Lezana according to El Pais.

The memo questioned the contradictions of the SSA to report a first number of deaths from influenza infection and then bring another. The SSA is simply an excuse to have a communication problem.
