Natalie Wood is recruiting for a Lab technician to join a chemical company in the adhesives industry, based in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis.

The Company:
Our client are a global leader in adhesive manufacturing, they work with household brands that you will use on a daily basis, creating adhesives for them.

Location:
This role is located Milton Keynes. The site is easily commutable from the surrounding areas as the location offers excellent transport links via an excellent road and public transport network.

The Role:
Your main duties will be:
> Assist in formulation and development of new adhesives
> Prepare samples for customers.
> Perform adhesive testing on competitive samples.
> Learn how adhesive formulation works to modify existing or develop new adhesives to meet customer needs.
> Investigate customer problems, quality concerns and complaints

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Experience in the chemical industry ideally
- Degree in science, preferable chemistry
- IT proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint > A solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way
- Enthusiastic & well presented
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Accountable for own of work
