Hyundai has already demonstrated the first electric car with an innovative hybrid plug-in ", an extended range electric car. It was presented at the Seoul Motor Show.

The Blue-Will is an electric car manufactured with materials of low environmental impact, such as recycled plastic or biodegradable feedstock using plants instead of petroleum.

The 100 kW electric motor is complemented by auxiliary 1.6-liter gasoline.

The electricity is stored in batteries of lithium ion polymer. Hyundai is the first manufacturer to employ ion polymer batteries lithium mass production electric vehicle when it goes on sale the Elantra LPI Hybrid in Korea before the end of this year.

The batteries were placed next to the fuel tank so as to maximize the space for the luggage. Used for weight materials like carbon fiber and biodegradable plastic from plants and fossil fuels.

The Blue-Will incorporates a sunroof with a series of photovoltaic solar cells that generate power for the batteries even when the car is stationary. The use of photovoltaics on the roofs of the new electric cars or plug-in hybrids can increase autonomy.
