We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Analytical Chemist you will be responsible for performing routine analysis of samples, sample receipt, control and sample disposal. Investigating non-adhering samples, data evaluation and writing quality documents.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the analytical chemist you will be responsible for performing analysis using a range of analytical techniques including chromatography, working within a regulated environment
2. You will conduct regular literature and other searches (electronic databases, journals) in order to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of analytical chemistry especially that related to Carbohydrates and current industry trends.
3. You will ensure compliance with the health, safety and environmental standards, including standards of good housekeeping, applicable to all areas of responsibility.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Degree in Chemistry, or other relevant subject.
2. Proven industry experience within a pharmaceutical laboratory working to highly regulated standards.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical techniques such as chromatography and wet chemistry.
