YOUR ROLE
- The Strategic IP management team within Adhesives New Business is responsible for
- the active management of the Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio of Henkel`s Adhesive
Technologies business unit. This includes the development and execution of IP
strategies as well as the in- and out-licensing of IP rights. - Carrying out project reviews to develop IP strategies in close collaboration with internal
stakeholders, such as R&D, sales, marketing and the corporate IP department - Organization of Operational Patent team meetings where the patent portfolio is
reviewed on a regular basis and relevant decisions, like maintenance, subsequent filing,
and nationalization decisions are made - Maintaining and improving databases which are used to monitor the financial impact of
the patent portfolio - Utilizing advanced patent-analysis capabilities to provide competitive intelligence to
business stakeholders
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Chemistry, Material Science or Business
studies - First IP management experience in the area of patents
- Solid understanding of intellectual property and contract law or motivation to learn and develop in this area
- Strength in communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated and ambitious team player
- Fluent English language skills
