Georgia Bernard at CK Group is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join an expanding manufacturing organisation at their site based in Grangemouth on an initial contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Analytical Chemist to gain and further their knowledge and experience in a commercial laboratory.
The main purpose of the role will be to carry out both physical and chemical analysis on raw materials and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques.
Further responsibilities will include:
- General laboratory maintenance.
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Ordering of laboratory consumables.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Minimum of HNC/HND in a Chemistry related subject and/or demonstrable experience in a chemical laboratory.
- Familiar with Health & Safety in a working laboratory.
- Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
