A leading diagnostics company has an exciting opportunity for an R&D Technician to join its team. Your role will be to support experimental work which will ultimately lead to the release of the new products to the diagnostic market. To be considered you must have a degree in life science and have previous experience in running ELISA.
Job duties will include:
- The running and interpretation of ELISA as assigned.
- Recording of experiments and resulting data.
- The running of SDS-PAGE.
- Communication of findings to other members of the R&D team.
- Maintaining stocks of critical R&D components.
- Coating of ELISA plates
- To assist in production and QC as required by the business.
Experience & Qualifications required:
- Minimum BSc in relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience of working in a GMP/GLP environment would be desirable
- Industrial experience in running ELISA
- Experience in various lab techniques, such as centrifugation and spectrophotometry would be advantageous
Skills required:
- Aptitude towards problem-solving.
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility/Adaptability.
- Capable of designing, performing and summarising experiments.
- Ability to work individually and in a team
