Analytical Chemistry Technician
A world leading speciality chemical business based local to Harlow is currently recruiting for a Analytical Technician to join its analytical team on a permanent basis. As Analytical Technician you will be responsible for analytical HPLC, GC and GPC support, equipment maintenance and hands on QC support. This role will suit a qualified chemist with experience working with analytical equipment in a laboratory environment.

Analytical Chemistry Technician Responsibilities:

• Structured scheduled maintenance of Agilent GC, HPLC and GPC systems.
• Providing cover in the QC lab for staff holidays/sickness and during busy periods.
• Providing analytical support to the Analytical Chemist (GC, HPLC, GPC analysis, titrations and other specialist tests) as required.

Analytical Chemistry Technician Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Degree qualification In Chemistry or related subject
• Someone who is eager and keen to learn new skills.
• A proactive work ethic.
• A team player, but capable of working autonomously.
• Flexible, reliable, methodical, and well organised.
• Literate and numerate.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well-developed practical skills.
• Good IT Skills (Word, Excel, able to use PC driven instrumentation).

Role: Analytical Technician
Job Type: Permanent full-time, 8:00am - 5:00pm with a 4pm finish on Fridays.
Package: £20k - £22k
