The Company
A leading pharmaceutical company in Northumberland who have a variety of pharmaceutical products across a range of dosage forms. They are looking to hire a QC Supervisor to help lead their busy Quality department in the analysis of pharmaceutical products and APIs.
The Job
The successful QC Supervisor will work in a team involved with the analysis of pharmaceutical products and APIs using HPLC and other techniques like GC within a GMP environment. They will be involved with the following duties;
- The management of a small team of analysts, guiding them technically and working on their development
- Extensive work on the development and validation of analytical methods
- Resolve technical issues including the troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
- Assist with internal and external audits
Your Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- Significant experience using HPLC within an industrial pharmaceutical GMP environment
- Experience with the development and validation of methods
It would be advantageous, but not required for you to have:
- A degree or above in chemistry or a related subject, but equivalent industrial experience would also be fine.
- Experience of supervision or management
