Swine flu: We can eat pork without any concern.

Given the indisputable fact of the action of the virus that causes swine influenza or swine flu, "I think we should say first that this is not a zoonosis simply that, which is known so far, virus that is causing the pandemic has not been transferred to humans through pigs, but is a pathogen of type A/H1N1, but never before detected: components are pigs, poultry and humans. This fact should give us a relative quiet, we can eat pork without any concern.

The contagion is human to human by the airways, such as seasonal influenza, unlike other viruses of this type can affect everyone, it is more severe in children and the elderly, but the swine flu also affects healthy adults. Has a relatively short incubation period.

It occurs about four or five days, and symptoms very similar to the flu: fever above 39 degrees, cough, headache, muscle pain, poor appetite, nausea and nasal congestion.

Nevertheless, concern is beginning to spread and every hour that passes there is more anxiety among those who must travel. It seems that once again the governments: the State and autonomous, the problem has taken on a weekend, or that would be the same with the foot changed. For the moment it is clear that we can continue eating ham, and chorizo sausage.
