An herb that combats flu china (¿swine?)

Solutions in conventional medicine for the swine flu is overdue. Fortunately we have two drugs against the virus does not offer resistance, but unfortunately this variant of the vaccine virus does not develop until within six months.

Something, however, we can do to keep the hopes of healing before the pandemic that ravages the world. Alternative medicine is working on this, and in China we have news of a medicinal plant that could mean a possible cure to the swine flu if it is to understand better.

This is the Elsholtzia rugulosa, a plant commonly used in China to prevent and to cure the flu if it is already installed. Researchers from the China Academy of Medical Sciences have studied this plant, confirming its potential to fight the flu, and opening the door to speculation.

This plant contains five flavonoids (apigenina, luteolin, apiina, galuteolina and luteolin 3 '), which play a key role in preventing viral diseases, so with great effectiveness. The researchers hope that research on this plant to find in the near future a possible cure to the swine flu.

However, conclusions or speaking. The investigation of Elsholtzia rugulosa has reached this point. It would be interesting to explore it further and verify the effectiveness of the plant in what is promised as a wider pandemic of avian influenza.
