Rise to three cases of swine flu in Germany

All of them had returned from recent trips to Mexico

- Three people have become sick of swine flu in Germany, as announced in Berlin Robert Koch Institute (RKI) Virology, responsible for centralizing the analysis being made to persons suspected of having contracted the disease.

The Berlin institute explained that one of the cases is that of a couple of 22 years who is admitted to a hospital in Hamburg after showing flu symptoms after returning from a trip to Mexico.

The second patient is a man of more than 30 years that is treated at the University Hospital Regensburg, while the third involved a woman 37 years resident of the town of Kulmbach, two cities in southern Germany. In both cases those affected were also returned on two tours to Mexico.

The Robert Koch Institute noted that there is a threat to the general population of the epidemic of swine flu cases and that are valued today analyzes other people suspected of having contracted the disease.

Shortly before, the Ministry of Health of the German federal state of Bavaria had confirmed the first case of swine flu in this country after the results of the analysis done to a person resident in the region of Regensburg. German health authorities announced yesterday and is expected to register more new infections of influenza in this country, when some 9,000 Germans were holiday in Mexico.
