Health Secretary of Mexico, Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos, reported tonight that 159 people died of atypical pneumonia grave, only seven were confirmed by swine flu.
At a press conference, Cordova also said that "certainly" have been 26 cases of sick people by swine flu, including seven who died. Cordova did not specify whether the remaining 19 persons are interned or were discharged. The Health Secretary said that from tomorrow will start at its own laboratory to analyze samples from suspected cases.
The official said that so far in April have been placed in all hospitals of the country's network of health insurance, which includes private and public workers, as well as hospitals in the state and private-2. 498 persons who had severe atypical pneumonia and atendiÙndose of them are still in a hospital 1. 311 people. Cordova noted a lower incidence of cases in recent days, although he admitted that this does not mean that one can speak of a reversal of the epidemic.
