* Five new cases rising to 20 in Catalonia in Spain, with the swine flu
* Increased to eight Spaniards quarantined in a hotel in Hong Kong

The agency said the herd was quarantined in the absence of further evidence, "but the possibilities that the pigs could transmit the virus to humans is remote." "The safety of the food supply is not affected and remains safe to eat Canadian pork." added.

"It is very likely that the pigs were exposed to the virus through Canadian who had been in Mexico recently and show symptoms of the new flu," the agency said via a press release published on its website. "All pigs are recovered or are recovering," said the note from the agency.
